The first Metraclark customer evening for 2017 kicked off on the 23rd of February, bringing a room full of Polokwane refrigeration and air conditioning industry role players together. Customers who started arriving just after six o clock at the Polokwane Golf Club were warmly welcomed at the entrance. Everyone gathered on the balcony for one on one discussions with different Metraclark suppliers and Metraclark staff before the main event commenced. Products on display for the evening included the new Quickpro piping solution and Elitech products.
The atmosphere was filled with excitement and the customers ready to interact. With a packed audience Mr. Kobus Hattingh (Metraclark General Manager) started proceedings by welcoming our valued guests and suppliers. Mr. Hattingh presented a short overview of Metraclark business today. Helga Schnetler (Northern Region Credit Controller) was next who started with an introduction of the Metraclark credit control team. Schnetler continued to talk about Metraclark Credit Control’s professional support and the importance to function well as a supply chain in today’s difficult economic environment. Mr. Johann Jooste (Metraclark Operations Manager) carried on with a presentation on quality commercial brands and engineering services available from Metraclark. Mr. Richard Vermaak (HVAC Manager) continued with an overview of Metraclark’s wide range of HVAC quality and trusted products. Quickpro Piping Solutions was up next, introducing their new range of piping products. Quickpro piping representatives used their time well to explain the many product advantages offered to the installer as well as the end-user. Danfoss did the last of the presentations with a company overview and a message of assurance that the Danfoss brand are stronger than ever in the South African market today.
One of the evening highlights were indeed Mr. Daan Louw from Lowin Air, a long standing, well respected Metraclark Polokwane customer, who took the opportunity to thank the local Metraclark employees, as well as the Metraclark management for supporting his business over the years. Mr. Louw carried on to explain how important business relationships are and how influential a good supplier can be in particular a technical business environment. Metraclark management wants to thank Mr. Louw again for the kind words.
Fun Times! Mr. Hattingh concluded the evening’s formal events with a Lucky Draw. The draw created quite a stir with the grand prize of the evening awarded to Mr. Casper Kasselmann from Staycool Tzaneen.
It was time for dinner and relaxed conversation about relationships and products between supplier, Metraclark and contractors.
